Why Dog PhotGRAPHY

A dog's eyes is a window to their soul

Photographing dogs is a passion for me. I love meeting them, spending time with them and I am happiest when I am surrounded by them. I am drawn to the story and soul of these dear creatures. I believe their eyes are filled with magical wonder. Dogs have a true essence of spirit and personality which I strive to capture in every shoot I do.

Many of us view our pets as important family members, even as our babies with fur called fur babies and we want to collect memories of our best friend, because it's difficult to image our lives without them. They love us unconditionally, have incredible sprit and never cease to find ways to make us laugh. They have so much to give and teach us. Molly has taught me personally how much these little creatures give and how little they ask for in return. They touch our hearts with such intensity. Because of the special place they hold in our hearts, it is so important to cherish our pets and their unique personalities while we have the chance. I feel that photography is a way to honor their unconditional love by capturing all the little things that bring such great joy to our lives.

These wonderful creatures mean so much to us but sadly their time with us is so short and when these lovely souls eventually leave us, we want images to hold on to. I know this all to well, having experienced the sudden loss of one of my own dogs. It's become so important to me to have many photos of my dogs to be able to look back upon and cherish for the rest of my life. Therefore, I feel it's very important to capture the spirit, personality and character that is so individual to each and every one of them with custom portraits. It is an amazing gift you can give yourself to cherish for a lifetime.

Your dog is unique and your relationship with them is unlike any other you have in this world. It is for this reason that I really love what I do. It is so important to me that you not only have a memorable experience with your pet but also end up with portraits that will bring a smile to your face every time you look at them. Portraits that you will truly enjoy and cherish for a life time, long after your pet is no longer by your side.
